Inspired by the many ghost stories of New Orleans, Danse des Mystères is primarily set in a 5/4 meter and a haunting, slow introduction leads to a lively dance. Commissioned by Danielle Breisach and the University of Wisconsin-Madison Flute Choir for the 41st NFA Annual Convention in New Orleans, Louisiana.
