Biwako Wind (Flute and Piano)

Biwako Wind (Flute and Piano) By Gary Schocker, Published By Falls House Press.

Schocker was commissioned for a new flute work by Takako Shiraishi, chairperson of the 2007 Biwako International Flute Competition. At her request, Schocker increased both the length of the work, with an added cadenza, and the difficulty, such that Biwako Wind would be the most difficult piece that Schocker had composed to that time.
