The ability to customize your headjoint cut is rarely offered for step-up flutes, and allows the flutist to tailor their flute to meet their needs. We also love that split-E mechanism comes standard on these flutes, which makes high E much easier to play.

Pearl Flutes currently offers three different headjoint styles for the Model 665: The "Largo", the "Forza," and the "Brezza."

The Largo is the Pearl Standard cut and offers an Elegant and Classic tone and easy blowing response in all registers.

The Forza is our most powerful and articulate cut for those players that want centered tone with an easy dynamic response and edge.

The Brezza is the newest Pearl cut option and borrows the flexibility and easy play of the Largo, but with an agility in playing more like the Forza.
